January & Febuary Favourites <3

I don’t think I’ve done a favourites blog in quite awhile, not that I havn’t had any favourites but since Christmas I’ve had a lot more new favourites 🙂

From a primer that smoothes my skin & minnimises pores to hair care that is prolonging my colour and reducing frizziness. There’s a mix of everything 🙂

Urban Decay Optical Illusion complexion primer – Available from http://www.debenhams.ie & instore at Debenhams for €29 ❤

Thick consistencey that remains tacky so I find the foundation just sticks and does not budge for hours! It creates a beautiful even base and does a very good job at blurring open pores. It does dry down to a matte finish after about 10 minutes so I apply foundation not long after applying primer, that’s what works for me anyway!

Urban Decay ‘UD Pro’ Optical Blurring brush – Available from http://www.debenhams.ie and instore at Debenhams for €30 ❤

Definitely a higher end price point but my god it’s worth it!! Foundation applies so quickly, blends in foundation perfectly and effortlessly. I’ve also found product doesn’t sink down to the bottom so the majority of the product is going onto the skin and it means less dirty. This brush is made up of synthetic hairs so more hygienic as it doesn’t hold onto bacteria.

Huda Beauty Smokey Obsessions palette – Available from http://www.brownthomas.com and instore at Brown Thomas for €28 ❤

LOVE LOVE LOVE this palette!! I’ve completely forgotten about my pigments as the shimmers in this palette are just as good, much easier to apply and less mess 🙂 I’ve a full blog dedicated to this palette in the link below where you can find swatches and looks using the Smokey Obsessions palette ❤

Blank Canvas Master Series Palette One – Available from http://www.cloud10beauty.com and in selected Cara Pharmacy’s for around €35 ❤

Just the best go to palette that has all the shades you would need to create plenty of looks. Full of pigment and blend like a dream!! And it comes with a great double ended brush.. I love this palette so much as well that I have a full blog for it linked below where you can again find swatches, looks and more information ❤

Alfaparf Semi Di Lino Moisture Nutritive Shampoo & Leave in Conditioner – Available from any salon stocking Alfaparf. Prices differ but generally around €12.50 each ❤

I was never into hair care but lately some issues had been bothering me which included my colour fading quite quickly. Long story short this range has transformed my hair. My colour lasted much longer and even after 2 months there’s still a lovely shine and gloss to it! This range is fantastic for anyone looking to prolong colour that also has dry/frizzy hair. Penney’s PS Protect Colour Hair Mask – Available in Penney’s/Primark for €3 ❤

What a bargain seriously!! I use this just after shampooing and wash out after about 3 minutes and my hair is so soft it’s unreal!! Can’t say for certain on whether it’s helping protect my colour but I would use anyway just for how my hair feels and looks afterwards.

PS Cleansing Scrub Mask – Available from Penney’s/Primark for €1 ❤

Another gem from Penney’s 🙂 This would probably be my favourite budget mask! Its an exfoliant whilst it nourishes the skin and helps cleanse the skin. My skin is left feeling so soft & smooth and best of all my skin doesn’t break out afterwards. I find this very hard to find in Penney’s so when you do see one grab it, I got 2 the last day and I find I get 3 uses from each pack.

Soap & Glory The Scrub of your Life – Available from http://www.boots.ie and instore at Boots for around €9 ❤

One of my all time favourites so I was delighted to be gifted this at Christmas 🙂 This is brilliant for pre tanning as it will literally scrub off any dead skin cells and dry skin!! And it’s great for removing tan and even stubborn tan.

What have been your favourites recently??

I find everyone has lot’s of favouites early in the year because of Christmas and it’s an exciting time when it comes to doing make up 🙂

As always thank you for taking the time to read and hope you found some recommendations, for more beauty content you can follow my social media links below and I am also on Snapchat where theres a mish mash of everything @mummymakeupblog
