Review – Boots Botanics Organic Facial Oil <3

I am writing this blog on behalf of my mum 🙂

She is 49 years old with dry/dehydrated/prone to flaking skin.

My mum has suffered with very dry skin for as long as I can remember. The most problematic area would definitely be in between her eyebrows and the sides of her nose. But recently her skin has become quite dehydrated.

She was in need of a facial oil so we went on the hunt for one 🙂

I had recommended the Boots botanics range as they are quite a reputable brand and quite reasonable.

She purchased the Botanics Organic Facial Oil 30ml.

botanics facial oil

This oil claims to lock in moisture for 8 hours while softening, conditioning and helping to restore the skins natural glow.

It contains rosehip which is a rich source of essential omega oils which help improve skins suppleness.

This product is also formulated without parabens.

She feels the consistency is very smooth and not greasy.

She only uses 2 drops on each application. It does not soak in straight away but skin looks very moisturised and supple.

While it’s on, skin feels very hydrated.

Scent is definitely present but not overpowering. Smells of rosewater and rosehip.

She applies moisturiser after 5 minutes.

Results 🙂

  • Saw immediate results – she has a tiny bit or psoriasis/very flaky skin in between her eyebrows and after the first day of using this product the flakiness was practically gone.
  • Skin feels smoother and much softer.
  • Skin looks much healthier with more of a “glow”.

She is using it morning and evening after cleansing and before moisturising.

She is extremely happy with the product and would definitely recommend it for anyone suffering from dry/dehydrated skin.

This product is available in Boots and online @ for €14.99  🙂

I am hoping to do more blog posts on recommending products for different skin types. I understand my readers will have a variety of skin types and I want to try and cater for all.

So anytime my mum/friends have a product they are loving I will try my best to get all the info  and blog about it 🙂

Thank you for taking the time to read and hope this was helpful ❤
