In the last few months my skin decided it was going to cause havoc for me 😦
I’ve been having lots of breakouts with no known cause. No change in diet, skincare etc…
I’ve been using the La Roche Posay Effaclar Range. And I am very pleased so far how it is working. I will have a full review on these products soon.
But I saw the Boots Witch Hazel and Tea Tree exfoliating pads in Boots just over a week ago and was very intrigued by them.
They claim to unclog pores, fight spot causing bacteria and smooth the skins surface.
The tub contains 60 pads which are soaked in Tea Tree and Witch Hazel.
Tea Tree Oil is clinically proven to be very effective in treating acne. It controls oil production, deeply penetrates the skin unblocking sebaceous glands, disinfects pores and dries out blemishes.
Witch Hazel is a natural astringent which helps reduce inflammation and decrease oil.
I thought with these 2 strong ingredients that it would be very strong smelling but the scent is quite nice. Not overpowering like I thought.
I use these after cleansing my face. And you can definitely feel like your exfoliating the skin. It feels a little rough but not uncomfortable.
I use 1-2 pads depending on how my skin is that day.
I feel these have definitely improved the appearance of my skin. Whether it was just this or combined with using the La Roche Posay I can’t say for definite but I will definitely be repurchasing these when I run out.
